Senior and Middle School Camp: Retreats providing opportunities for students to learn the Word of God through expository preaching, friendly competition, and activities
Redneck Games: Fun-filled event promoting teamwork and friendly competition. Includes tug-of-war with a mud pit and multiple goofy competitions

Origins:
Started in 2023 to cater to the middle school students of Sonrise Baptist Church.
Partnered with churches from Missouri and Kansas for a successful inaugural year.
Excited about future collaborations to provide a memorable experience for teenagers.

Meet Our RISE Student Ministry Team
My favorite verse is probably, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord..." Psalm 37:23. It was a verse that helped me trust the plans God has for me in the midst of transitions. My desire for Rise Student Ministries is for students to build relationships in a safe environment and learn to love God supremely and neighbors sincerely.
The following verse, "For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them. 1 Cor. 9:19" is my favorite verse. The reason I love this verse is because Paul's self-sacrifice and servanthood is to bring more people to Christ and that should be our daily goal. We should strive to adapt and serve others in order to share God's word effectively.
A verse I think of often is "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation' but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." John 16:33. I love this verse as a reminder that our God conquered death, hell and the grave so that we may have life and have it more abundantly. It encourages me to trust the One who holds all things in His hands and in Whom I can find true peace and rest through the inevitable tests and trials of life.
I like the verses, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23. These verses remind me of God's love, mercy, and faithfulness. God's love for me will never end or waver. He is so merciful in that he doesn't give me what I deserve, eternity apart from Him. And He is steady, consistent, unfailing; He is so faithful.
